My Path, So Far

I’m still creating my own type of witchery, although, I feel kind of ridiculous giving it a label.

I’m exploring Hellenic belief system as a backbone to my homespun practice because I feel comfortable with Hestia and Hecate as well as other Greek Gods. Unfortunately, I’m not Greek or have any Greek ancestry (as far as I know). Also, I’m not a Reconstructionist. I’m doing everything by feel alone.

At the top, a place for Hestia, Hecate, and Tyche. Unfortunately, this all the space I have for any witchy practice, but it’s a lot of space!

I use my Crowley Tarot deck to represent the four Greek elements: earth, air, fire, and water as well as Tyche (Goddess of fortune). The bottle represents Hestia and there’s a Daughter’s of the Moon Tarot card in the back of Hecate. All of this was stuff I had in my chest.

I’m keeping everything in my little Zoho notebook app I was telling you about. I’d love to share with you guys what I have, but I’ve put so much information in it, it’d be difficult to source everything.

Instead, I can update you guys on how I am doing. I’ve created some little rituals to Hecate, Hestia, and Tyche. As well as my own Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. I know my path is “homespun” or unsophisticated, but I’m a lover of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn so, I had to make my own LBRP.

I finished my mojo bag! And I’ve already put some little items in it for divination! I’m awfully excited about it! I think I’d want to make another one for a spell. Something a bit smaller!

Now, I’m trying to create/find some holy days to observe.

What have you been up to?

  1. I think creating and defining your own personal craft is the perfect way to be. I feel that spiritual beliefs and rituals are extremely personal and that whatever “feels” right is right. 🙂
